Ethan Johnson's Experience
Coach Ethan brings 12 years of experience in playing and coaching lacrosse. He began his playing career as a goalie before transitioning to attack. In club lacrosse, he played for the Yorba Linda Lightning, the Yorba Linda Stangs, and the El Modina Vanguards. During high school, Ethan played both attack and midfield for the Yorba Linda Mustangs.
Ethan continued his lacrosse journey at California State University San Marcos. As a midfielder, he was part of the first team to win an SLC championship and contributed to an impressive victory against the #3 ranked Kennesaw State in the national championship.
Transitioning to coaching, Ethan has made significant contributions to various programs. He has worked with the Yorba Linda Lightning rec program, the San Marcos Warriors program, and served as the Offensive Coordinator for Mission Hills High School and now is an Assistant Coach at El Dorado High School.
Coach Ethan’s extensive experience as both a player and coach, combined with his dedication and passion for lacrosse, make him a valuable asset to the teams and players he mentors.
